HSSC CET Haryana 2023 Selection Process

  • Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) begins recruiting for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ positions, eligible candidates will receive notifications based on their CET scores.
  • The commission will decide whether selection will rely solely on CET scores or if a test will be conducted. Recruitment for Group D posts will consider CET scores, while Group C might involve an additional test.
  • For vacancies up to 50 posts, the Commission will call five times the total positions, and for posts exceeding 50, three times the candidates will be summoned based on CET scores/percentiles categorized. If multiple candidates meet the cutoff, they will all be invited for further stages.
  • Moreover, a maximum of 5 points will be allocated for social, economic, and experiential factors in both Group C and Group D positions, directly adding to the candidate’s CET score.

Haryana CET 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern

The Haryana CET 2023 written exam comprises six parts with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question holds a weightage of 0.95 marks, summing up to a total of 95 marks for the exam. There’s no negative marking; however, leaving a question blank will incur a deduction of 0.95 marks. If a candidate chooses not to attempt a question, the fifth option should be selected.
